I've always wanted to draw a scene in The World that Never Was.... when I actually started coloring, I immediately regretted it lol

TADA, a finished pic. Makes up for all those rough sketches (though this is still relatively rough lol)

I partly blame rereading most of Hearts That Pump Dust for my desire to draw this

Gawd I love this, it's just like a secene right out of the game, or more so as the scene that never was but we all knew all happened.
Axel is saying his line and Roxas just can't decide if he is suppose to not be caring or is suppose to be changing and rethinking things. It's such a great pic, you're really amazing!

I love the expressions, per usual. <3
Roxas looks pissed and a little heartbroken, but like he's trying very very hard to just look disinterested.
And Axel is just Axel, wearing his "psuedo"emotions on his sleeve just like Demyx.

thankyaaa, rox's expression was a lil.. ambiguous on this one.. xD it changed a lot, and then when i decided on one, it changed again when I added color... but I guess that's a testament to the fact that rox is just a hard book to read in this situation xD

Pseudo emotions are the most tragic kind of emotions </3

Yes... yes they are.

Yeah... it was impossible to tell what either of them was really thinking in that situation other than Axel being scared to death that he'd have to kill Roxas.

AHHHHH I forgot how much I loooooove your finished stuff! I'm always so impressed by your DOODLES and then I see this kind of thing and I'm like, WELL YAH THERE IS THAT TOO HUH ASDJFALSKFHDJSLKFH :XD: I LOVELOVELOVE the emotion on their faces (even Roxas' OH YES I see it in those eyes, little guy) :XD: and in their posture. LIKE AXEL'S, HNNGH. So thrilling. I wonder what's going onnnn heeeereeee? :D

And the setting is LOVELY too. So....ethereal. :love:
